After Google, FB and Instagram, WhatsApp blocked in China

Instant messaging service WhatsApp has been largely blocked in China, the media reported.

The Open Observatory of Network Interference (OONI), a global observation network for detecting censorship, surveillance and traffic manipulation, suggested on Monday night that Chinese internet service providers started blocking access to WhatsApp on September 23, reports CNN.

Public reports on Twitter indicated that WhatsApp, which is owned by the US-based social media giant Facebook, became inaccessible for some people on September 19.

Over the last few months, there were a number of WhatsApp disruptions in China.

However, WhatsApp has not made an official announcement on the development.

China has already blocked access to a number of internet companies, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Google.

Some people access these services through virtual private networks (VPN), or with tools that disguise internet traffic to circumvent censorship. But the Chinese government has launched a crackdown on VPNs this year.

According to Timothy Heath, senior international defense research analyst at the RAND Corporation, the Chinese government does not like that WhatsApp uses strong encryption.

"The government wants to monitor internet communications, and therefore it's trying to steer its people to use technology that can be accessed and monitored by the government," Heath told CNN.

Earlier this month, WeChat, a popular chat service in China, notified users of its policies to comply with government requests for information.

FC Barcelona's Twitter was hacked in the early hours of Wednesday morning, with the club "announcing" the signing of Angel Di Maria from Paris Saint-Germain.

It had been a trying 24 hours for the Blaugrana, as on Tuesday the club announced they were suing Neymar after alleging the Brazilian failed to fulfill his agreement with the team.

And things only got worse later as the club's official Twitter account sent out a tweet saying, "Welcome Angel Di Maria to FC Barcelona!"

Over the course of the next hour, the tweets would disappear and reappear on Barcelona's timeline, as a back-and-forth battle between the hackers and the club ensued. 

Later, the club tweeted: "Our accounts have been hacked tonight. We're working to solve the problem as soon as possible.

"Thanks for your patience."

Credit for the hack was claimed by OurMine, a Saudi Arabian group who have also hacked the Facebook account of CNN, and Twitter accounts of Netflix, Marvel and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg among many others.

How to auto Shutdown a computer using USB Flash drive.

• Open the notepad, and copy + paste following codes in notepad.

-s : shutdown.
-r : Restart.
-l : Logoff.
-t : Time(After how many seconds should PC turn off).
-a : aborting the shutdown of PC

• 00 is indicating that system will shut down after 0 seconds.You change the timing in the desired seconds.


• Now click on “File” and then “Save” to save the file or just simply click the ctrl+S, save the file in shutdown.bat.(you must save in .bat extension file indicating the batch file.


• Now again open the notepad and copy the code given below :

[autorun] Open=game.bat
Action=Mouse DisableSave it as “autorun.inf”

How to crack IDM for your self permanently

Almost everyone use IDM to download files from web at high speed but a messing popup says “IDM has been registered with the Fake serial number”.

This pop up is really very irritating since it appears every time when you are about to download some file or when you start your system.  This error leads you to search for cracked file from torrent and other alternative.

Here are easy two Tricks that GetRwanda is going to teach and get rid of this heck…

Method 1: Tweaking with IDM files.

1. Open window explorer and navigate to ‘Internet Download Manager’ folder in program files.


2. Open ‘Internet Download Manager’ folder to see the list of files as shown below:

#2. In open window, search and delete ‘IDMGrHlp.exe’ file and copy ‘idmBroker.exe’ from same folder and paste it in same folder.

#3. Once you done with Step #2. Now rename the copied file of ‘idmBroker.exe’ to ‘IDMGrHlp.exe’ as shown below:



#4. Now last step is to restart your system to apply this effect and enjoy the downloading without any interruption.

 

Method 2: Play with Hosts File

#1. Open window explorer and navigate to folder > ‘C:WindowsSystem32driversetc’.
This folder contains 5 files out of which one is ‘hosts’ file.

 

#2. Right click on that file follow by Open With >> Notepad.



#3. Once you have opened this file in Notepad. In my case I am using ‘Notepadd++’ it doesn’t make any difference.

 

Now just copy the below lines of code and paste it after the last line in the ‘hosts’ file.

Note: If you cannot edit host file then use this trick to edit host file which has Read-only property.

These 2 tricks will allow you to use IDM without even registering IDM on internet.

Please note that this will disable the update function of Internet Download Manager. You will need to download the latest updates manually.

If you are still getting errors, the best way is to download Internet Download Manager from Tonec website again, uninstall the previously installed IDM completely and reinstall IDM using the newly downloaded installer. You may also contact their support department which is quite responsive and friendly.

Steps by step to start Instagram live Video

Now let’s look at how you can set up an Instagram Live broadcast.

#1: Start an Instagram Live

To start an Instagram Live broadcast, tap on the Your Story profile photo (with the + sign next to it) at the top of your Instagram news feed. Or if you’ve scrolled down your news feed and don’t see that bar anymore, tap on the camera icon at the top left of your Instagram screen.

Click the Your Story profile photo to start an Instagram story.

This takes you to your Instagram Stories, where you can choose from three options:

• Live: Video that disappears after the broadcast ends


• Normal: Photo or video disappearing in 24 hours


• Boomerang: Time-lapse-like video created from a burst of photos

Slide your finger to the Live option.

Use your finger to slide over to Live to get to Instagram’s Live broadcasting feature.

Check Your Instagram Story Settings

You’ll want to look over your Instagram Story settings before you go live. Tap the settings wheel icon at the top left.

Tap the settings wheel to configure your Instagram Story settings.

Then make sure all of your Instagram settings are in order.

Check your Instagram Story settings before you go live.

These settings let you configure whom you want (or more likely, don’t want) to see your Instagram story and who can message you about your story.

Note that the Save Shared Photos setting doesn’t apply to your live video. Your live video will be lost after you broadcast. If you want to record your broadcast, you’ll need screen recording software for your smartphone such as ScreenFlow for Mac for recording iPhone screen activity.

Flip Your Camera

 

Is your camera pointed the wrong way? Tap the icon to the right of your Start Live Video button to flip your camera.

Tap the arrow icon to flip your smartphone camera.

Note that you can’t use flash lighting in Live video mode. Go Live After you have everything set up, click Start Live Video to start your broadcast. Once you start your live video, Instagram will notify your followers (as shown at the beginning of this article).

#2: Manage Your Live Broadcast

While you’re live on Instagram, it’s good to know some key settings. At the bottom of the screen, you can see the number of viewers and the users who have joined your live video. You can even prompt a conversation by starting and replying to comments.

You can reply to comments at the bottom of the Instagram Live screen.

This helps you keep tabs on whether your audience is engaged in what you’re showing them, based on how often you see people comment or exit. If you want to close commenting, tap on the three dots at the bottom right.

Click the three dots icon to turn off commenting for your live broadcast.

Tap on the Live button at the top left of the screen to find out how long you’ve been broadcasting.

Tap the Live icon to see how long you’ve been broadcasting on Instagram.

To see who’s watching your broadcast, tap on the number of viewers to the right of the Live button (at the top left). If you need to kick someone out, tap the X next to his or her name.

Click the X next to a person’s name to remove him or her from your Instagram Live broadcast.

#3: End the Broadcast

When you’re ready to end your broadcast, tap the End button at the top-right corner of the screen.

Tap the End button to end your Instagram Live broadcast.

You’ll then see your Instagram Live video analytics, which is the number of viewers.

You see this screen when you end your Instagram Live broadcast.

Because your live video is lost in the moment and Instagram Analytics (thus far) shows no data from live videos or stories, this screen is your best bet (unless you’ve screen-recorded your live video with a combination of smartphone/computer/software). Take a screenshot to remember how well your Instagram Live video went over with your audience.
